This poster was designed for Poster House by Pablo Medina in promotion of the exhibition Freak Power. The poster includes a variety of references to the journalist and writer Hunter S. Thompson’s run for Sheriff of Aspen, CO in 1970. From the psychedelic culture of the time, swirling blue and red lines are interspersed with photographic negatives of Thompson himself and images from his campaign, as well as common motifs from Thompson’s campaign posters by Thomas W. Benton. Will be beautifully hand embellished by artist Judy Haas with Austrian crystals, diamond dust and other elements. Price includes Italian dark walnut wood frame.
